Dream about jumping

Jumping in a dream is the way you lift yourself clear of what sits beneath your feet. This movement shows a sudden rise above the usual path, a moment where the weight of the world is momentarily left behind.

The fear of the leap is a sign that you are facing something that feels too large to handle. When you find yourself being scared to jump, you are losing your footing in a situation that demands a quick decision. I have known the way my hands shake when the floor seems to slip away. This dream shows that the intimidation you feel is pulling you back from a necessary change.

The height from which you are jumping from a high place adds a weight to the dream, as the distance makes the air feel thinner and the stakes feel more certain. A great height means the circumstances are not small, and the leap requires a total surrender to the movement. You are already capable of the flight.

The distance below in a dream of jumping from a high place turns a simple movement into a confrontation with the vastness of your own life. Because the fall is so long, the dream demands a courage that does not look for a safety net. You find your strength in the very moment you let go.
